The Utility Regulator has published an information paper on REMIT data quality issues and CEREMP registration and obligations. Remit stands for Regulation of Energy Market Integrity and Transparency and CEREMP is the Centralised European Register of Energy Market Participants.
The purpose of this information paper is to alert market participant to two Open Letters published by ACER on data quality and insider information, and to act as a reminder of their obligations under REMIT. This includes their obligation to register via CEREMP, to provide the requested information in its entirety and to keep registration information up to date.
