The auction of interconnector capacity on the Moyle (Scotland–Northern Ireland) and North-South electricity interconnectors, which was announced in the Ofreg paper “Proposals for Moyle and North/South Interconnectors : Trading Arrangements from 1 April 2002” (November 2001) will be postponed by one week.
Interested parties should note that the new effective dates are:
Friday 30 November Issue of bid documents
Friday 7 December Receipt of bids
Monday 10 December Bid opening.
Full details of the auction process will be contained in the bid documentation.
Interested parties which wish to receive bid documents should contact System Operator Northern Ireland (SONI) via e-mail brian.lunn@nie.co.uk. These documents will be available from 30 November.
