The Utility Regulator regulates the gas prices for customers of SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (Greater Belfast and West areas), Firmus Energy (Ten Towns area) and the electricity prices for Power NI’s domestic customers.
This means that we continuously monitor the components that make up these regulated tariffs and then approve any resulting change to tariffs when necessary.
A formal review of all three of these regulated tariffs has now commenced. It is expected that the reviews will conclude by end of February, and announcements to follow soon after.
