Summary

The Approach Consultation Paper outlines our options for setting the structure, form and duration of the price control, scope and coverage of regulated tariffs, operating costs levels/allocations and proposed approach to margin for the gas retail companies in the next price control (SPC27).

We have published an Approach Consultation Paper for our next price control for the gas supply companies, that we refer to as SPC27.

The consultation outlines our options for setting the structure, form and duration of the price control, scope and coverage of regulated tariffs, operating costs levels/allocations and proposed approach to margin.

The purpose of SPC27 is to set an efficient level of revenue for Firmus Energy (Supply) and SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (NI) which they collect through their regulated gas tariffs.

The consultation paper sets out a timetable for the process of reaching a determination and proposes an approach for the areas that will be covered within the process.

Responses should be received on or before 4:00pm on Friday 15 August. Our preference would be for responses to be submitted by email.
