Draft Determination for firmus energy (Supply) Limited Price Control 2027-2030
Published:
Summary
The purpose of SPC27 is to set an efficient level of revenue for firmus energy Supply (FES), which they collect through their regulated gas tariffs. In determining the price control allowances, we scrutinise and challenge FES’s Business Plan submission and review the cost forecasts. We then set out the charges that FES can recover through its regulated tariffs, ensuring the customer base receives a quality service at a reasonable cost.
Our Draft Determination is now published for consultation and we would encourage you to make your views known to us. It is important that we are provided with a range of responses that will help us deliver the most robust and informed decisions as we finalise this next price control for FES.
The publication of the Draft Determination follows on from our Approach Consultation, which was published in July 2025, and the Final Approach document in November 2025.
Following our review of the consultation responses, we plan to publish our Final Determination on the price control and a consultation on the licence modifications in October 2026. The consultation period will last for four weeks and details of how to respond will be provided at the time of publication.
Responses should be received on or before 5pm on Friday 31 July. Our preference would be for responses to be submitted by email.
