Job description

The Utility Regulator is seeking to appoint a Permanent HR Officer (Learning & Development)

 

The Utility Regulator is offering an excellent opportunity for an HR Officer who will play a vital part in our HR team, contributing to the delivery of the UR People Strategy, with a focus on learning and development.  This is a diverse role, and the post holder will also have the opportunity to work across a broad generalist HR remit.

Salary:                                 £25,211 - £30,493 per annum

Pension:                              Northern Ireland Civil Service pension arrangements

Contract:                             Permanent, full time

Holidays:                             25 days (rising to 30 days), plus 12 public and privilege days

 

Essential Criteria

  1. CIPD Associate Level and at least two years’ experience in a similar role.
  2. Proven experience of working effectively in a HR generalist role providing support services in the areas of:
  • performance management/appraisal cycle;
  • review or development of HR policies and procedures;
  • equality (diversity & inclusion);
  • employee health and wellbeing initiatives; and
  • end to end administration of recruitment processes.
  1. Proven experience of contributing to the development of an office wide learning and development (training) plan, including coordination of delivery and monitoring progress. 
  2. Ability to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to workplace values that align to those of the UR.

 

The interview and assessment process is expected to be conducted in the week commencing 24 January. However, this will be subject to Executive guidance on COVID-19 restrictions.
