On 12 June 2025 the Utility Regulator issued a notice of consultation that it proposed to grant an electricity generation licence to Lagan Energy (Ballymena) Limited with a copy of the form of licence proposed to be granted, published alongside the notice.
No responses were received to the consultation.
In accordance with Article 10 of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 (the Order) the Utility Regulator has on 22 July 2025 granted an electricity generation licence to Lagan Energy (Ballymena) Limited.
Copies of all documents will be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
