On 10 March 2015 the Utility Regulator issued a public consultation on the proposed grant of separate Demand Side Unit (DSU) generation and supply licences to Powerhouse Generation Limited and to Energy Trading Ireland Limited.
We received one response to the consultation from NIE. The Utility Regulator’s response to the representations raised by NIE, are outlined in the decision paper.
The Utility Regulator now gives notice that a licence for the DSU operation in Northern Ireland has been granted to both Energy Trading Ireland and Powerhouse Generation Limited on 26 May 2015. Their licenses are provided below:
