The Utility Regulator today publishes a decision paper on the licence modifications required to implement fully ownership unbundled (FOU) arrangements for GNI (UK). This follows the publication of our consultation on the certification changes.
Directive 2009/73/EC requires gas transmission system operators to operate independently from production or supply interests. The modifications allow the licensee to implement the requirements of the Directive. The changes closely mirror those previously made for Premier Transmission Limited and Belfast Gas Transmission Limited. We have also taken the opportunity to make minor changes to other parts of the licence which have since become outdated.
Copies of all documents can be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
