Revocation of DSU license to generate and supply electricity granted to Kiwi Power Limited

On 26 January 2022, the Utility Regulator (UR) received a request from Kiwi Power Limited to revoke its Demand Side Units (DSU) licences for the generation and supply of electricity in Northern Ireland, which were granted on 26 October 2015. By its request, Kiwi Power Limited agreed that its electricity generation and supply DSU licences be revoked by the UR.

Kiwi Power Limited (‘the Licensee’) has voluntarily requested the revocation of its licences.

On 10 February 2022, we gave Notice to the Licensee that, in accordance with section 1(a) of Schedule 1 to the electricity generation licence and schedule 2 of the supply licence, the licences would be revoked with effect from 12 March 2022.
