Today the Utility Regulator publishes a Notice Under Article 14(2) of the Electricity (NI) Order 1992 and a Notice Under Article 14(2) of the Gas (NI) Order 1996.
These documents outlines the licence modifications that result from the ‘Decision Measures to Enhance the Operation of the Small Business Energy Market’ and the ‘Decision on the Application of Exit Fees in the Small Business Energy Market’.
The effect of the modifications will be to implement requirements around contracts for small business customers.
The effective date of these modifications is 1st May 2020.
