SONI is the electricity Transmission System Operator (TSO) for Northern Ireland. The Evaluative Performance Framework (EPF), which the Utility Regulator introduced for the SONI 2020 - 2027 price control, allows for an evaluation of SONI’s performance in each financial year.
SONI has published their mid-year performance review report, following on from their Forward Work Plan 2025/2026.
Following this mid-year review, SONI will publish their Annual Performance Report for 2025/2026 in January 2027.
Following the publication of the Annual Performance Report, an assessment will be conducted by the EPF Panel that will conclude the cycle for this EPF year.
