Summary

Today the Utility Regulator publishes a consultation paper on the introduction of contestability in electricity connections within Northern Ireland.

The purpose of the paper is to seek views and comments on recent responses to our call for evidence that was published on 9 September 2014.  This document is most likely to be of interest to all parties owning, connecting to, or providing connections to the electricity network in Northern Ireland.

We would also welcome contributions from customers, customer representative bodies, financial institutes providing finance and other interested parties.

Copies of the consultation paper and any accompanying documents will also be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
