We have published our Forward Work Programme (FWP) for 2026/2027.
The FWP is our annual business plan and outlines the non‑routine projects we intend to undertake over the coming year. It has been developed to support delivery of our Corporate Strategy 2024–2029, Protecting Consumers on the way to Net Zero. Each project within the programme is aligned to one of our strategic objectives.
Commenting on the publication, John French, Chief Executive of the Utility Regulator, said:
“Our Corporate Strategy 2024–2029, Protecting Consumers on the way to Net Zero, sets out our vision for supporting a low‑carbon future while ensuring consumers are protected throughout this transition.
“The Forward Work Programme details the projects that will help us achieve our strategic objectives. These projects reflect our commitment to delivering at pace and securing meaningful outcomes for consumers and stakeholders.
“We greatly value the collaboration and co‑operation of our stakeholders, whose engagement has played an important role in shaping our final programme.”
We have also published the responses to our public consultation on the draft Forward Work Programme. Direct feedback will be provided to all those who submitted comments during the consultation process.
