On 1 April 2026 the Utility Regulator issued a notice of consultation that we proposed to grant an electricity generation and electricity supply licence to Durham Street Energy Limited. A copy of the proposed licences were published alongside the consultation notice.
No responses were received to the consultation.
In accordance with Article 10 of the Electricity (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 (the Order) the Utility Regulator has on 13 May 2026 granted DSU electricity generation and supply licences to Durham Street Energy Limited.
Copies of all documents will be made available in large print, Braille, audio cassette and a variety of relevant minority languages if required.
