Decision on the Amended Proposal by all NEMOs for the Market Coupling Operator (MCO) Plan

Article 9(6) of Commission Regulation (EU) 2015/1222 of 24 July 2015 establishing a guideline on capacity allocation and congestion management (the CACM Regulation) requires the approval of all regulatory authorities of the plan on joint performance of MCO functions.

On 13 April 2017, the Utility Regulator received a proposal for the Market Coupling Operator Plan from SEMOpx.  

The Utility Regulator is today, 30 June 2017, publishing its decision to approve, in line with the all Regulatory Authorities’ agreement dated 16 June 2017, the second amendment to the proposal for the MCO Plan.  Also published are:

  • The Approval by all Regulatory Authorities agreed at the Energy Regulators’ Forum of all NEMOs’ Proposal for the Plan on Joint Performance of MCO Functions (MCO Plan) – 16 June 2017
  • All NEMO proposal for the MCO Plan
