The Utility Regulator, following consultation with the Transmission System Operator (“SONI”) and the Transmission Owner(“NIE Networks”) publish our direction in regards to EP Kilroot (“The Licensee”) 36 Month Derogation request from SONI Grid Code Clause CC.S1.1.3.8. Under condition 4(2) of the Licensee generation licence the Authority may issue directions relieving the Licensee of its obligation in respect of such parts of the Grid Code and to such extent as may be specified in those directions
The Utility Regulator, include in our publication, a direction for the Transmission System Owner (“SONI”) under condition 16(12) of their Transmission Licence, where the Authority may from time to time (following consultation with the Licensee) issue directions relieving the Licensee of its obligations to implement or comply with, or to enforce against any other person any provision of, the Grid Code in respect of such parts of the transmission system and/or the distribution system to such extent as may be specified in the directions.
