The Utility Regulator is today publishing our decision to proceed with modifications to BGE (UK) Ltd’s gas conveyance licence in order for us to carry out our statutory duties when setting the rate of return for future price controls. On 1 August 2015, BGE (UK) changed its name to GNI (UK) Ltd.
The modification to paragraph 5 of Annex A of Condition 2.2 of the gas conveyance licence granted to BGE (UK) Ltd on 12 February 2002 is in accordance with Article 14(8).
On 4 February 2016, we issued a consultation on this proposed decision. One response was received from GNI (UK). The modifications shown in Annex A to this decision paper will have effect from 24 August 2016.
The next review period for GNI (UK) will commence on 1 October 2017
