Today the Utility Regulator is publishing a decision paper on the licence conditions to implement the fully ownership unbundled model in the gas transmission licenses. On 2 May, we published a consultation paper which set out the proposed modifications to the fully ownership unbundled model in the EU Third Energy Package.
We received three responses to the consultation, which have been taken into account in determining the final licence modifications. The Department of Enterprise Trade and Investment has also consented to the modifications which are set out in the final decision paper. The modifications come into effect on 22 August 2013.
