We approved modifications to Northern Ireland Water’s Instrument of Appointment which were consulted upon on 16 March 2016 under Article 20(2) of the Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006.

These amendments were designed to reduce the regulatory burden on the company and other relevant parties as part of our commitment to ‘Better Regulation’ and relate to the following conditions:
(i) Condition B Clause 7.2: Principal Statement;
(ii) Condition F1 Clause 9 Procurement Activity and
(iii) Condition J Part III Condition 7 Reporter Reports.
