The Utility Regulator has published our decision to approve the amended Nominated Electricity Market Operator (NEMO) proposal for Single Electricity Market-France Cross-Border Clearing and Settlement Arrangements in accordance with Article 77 of EU Commission Regulation 2015/1222.
On 30 June 2025, we received a proposal from the NEMOs (SEMOpx and Nord Pool).
On 16 December 2025, we requested amendment to the proposal, which is published alongside this approval letter. We have worked closely with colleagues in the Commission for Regulation of Utilities in assessing these proposals.
On 16 February 2026, the NEMOs submitted an amended proposal detailing the SEM-FR Cross-Border Clearing and Settlement Arrangements.
The attached letter sets out the Utility Regulator’s decision to approve the NEMOs’ proposal as amended.
