Utility Regulator grants electricity generation licence to Antrim Wind Energy Ltd

On 23 April 2017 the Utility Regulator issued a consultation on the proposed grant of an electricity generation licence to Antrim Wind Energy Limited.

We received one response to the proposal to grant a licence to Antrim Wind Energy Ltd. Having given careful consideration to the response, as outlined in our decision paper we consider that there is not sufficient information which leads us to conclude that Antrim Wind Energy should not be granted a generation licence.

In accordance with Article 10 of The Electricity (Northern Ireland) order 1992, the Utility Regulator now gives notice that a licence for the generation of electricity in Northern Ireland was granted to Antrim Wind Energy limited on 5 February 2018.
