On 23 October 2013 a licence for the supply of gas was granted to LCC Power Limited. LCC Power Limited has been trading under the name Go Power since 1 August 2015.
Due to some internal restructuring, LCC Power Limited has requested consent from the Utility Regulator to assign their gas supply licence to LCC Group Limited on 1 October 2016. LCC Power Ltd is a 100% subsidiary of LCC Group Ltd.
We considered the assignment in accordance with Article 12 of the Gas (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 and condition 1.9 of the gas supply licence. The Utility Regulator has provided consent to LCC Power Limited to assign its gas supply licence to LCC Group Limited on 1 October 2016.
LCC Power Limited also intends to move its licensed electricity business from LCC Power Limited to LCC Group Limited and in order to achieve this they are in the process of applying for a new electricity supply licence.
We understand that LCC Group Limited will continue to trade under the name of Go Power for the supply of gas and electricity and existing Go Power customers will not experience any inconvenience as a result of the licence assignment.
