Today the Utility Regulator publishes the final determination for the price control for SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (NI) Ltd and firmus energy (Supply) Ltd.
This paper sets out our final decisions for the next SSE Airtricity and firmus energy supply price controls. This is the latest in a series of documents we have published in relation to these price controls. It follows on from our Approach Paper published in October 2015 and the draft determination published in June 2016.
This decision paper outlines the rationale for our decisions in relation to the main issues within the controls and indicates the total amount of revenue that the Licensees can recover, in any relevant year, in respect of their gas supply businesses.
Four responses were received to the June consultation paper and these can viewed as annexes to the decision paper. Responses to the approach paper were published in June 2016 along with the draft determination paper.
Having considered all responses and representations made during both consultation periods, we now publish our final decisions, and the associate Article 14 Notice and Licence Modifications which reflect these.
