GD29

The GD29 Price Control will consider the plans of the three gas distribution network operators:

• Evolve owns and operates the distribution network mains laid as part of the ‘Gas to the West’ project in the west of Northern Ireland.
• Kinecx Energy owns and operates the distribution network, normally called the Ten Towns area.
• Phoenix Energy owns and operates the distribution network in the Greater Belfast and Larne areas and East Down.

These companies currently operate under the GD23 Price Control which runs to the end of 2028.  

GD29 will begin on the 1 January 2029. Our current proposal is that it will run for six years, however we will consider feedback received to our consultation before finalising this decision.
