The Utility Regulator and the Commission for Energy Regulation (the Regulatory Authorities - RAs) have published their decision relating to the Single Electricity Market Operator (SEMO) price control. The price control determines SEMO’s revenue requirement which is recovered through the annual all-island Market Operator tariffs.
The decision paper includes the form of regulation for SEMO in respect of operational expenditure and capital expenditure, together with incentives such as key performance indicators.
