Forward Work Programme 2024/2025 published

Today we publish our Forward Work Programme (FWP) 2024/2025.

The FWP is our annual business plan and sets out the non-routine projects we plan to do in the forthcoming year. This is our first FWP under our Corporate Strategy 2024-2029, Protecting Consumers on the way to Net Zero.  The projects are organised under our corporate strategy objectives. Our new strategy will be published next month.

Commenting on the publication of our Forward Work Programme, John French, Utility Regulator Chief Executive, said:

Our Forward Work Programme 2024/2025 is an important milestone at an exciting time for the Utility Regulator. Our new Corporate Strategy 2024-2029, Protecting Consumers on the way to Net Zero, sets out an ambitious vision of delivering a low carbon future and making sure that consumers benefit, and are protected, during the journey to net zero.

“The FWP translates our strategy into a programme of projects which together show how we plan to achieve against our new strategic objectives.

“Key to helping us deliver on our projects is collaboration and co-operation with our stakeholders, and we are grateful for their contribution in helping us shaping our FWP.”

Responses to our public consultation on the draft Forward Work Programme are also published.  We will also provide direct feedback to those that have responded.

A paper copy of the FWP can be obtained from Barbara Brown via e-mail barbara.brown@uregni.gov.uk or in writing to the Utility Regulator, Queens House, 14 Queen Street, Belfast, BT1 6ED.

Copies of the document will be made available in accessible formats if required.
