The Utility Regulator regulates the gas prices for customers of SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (for the Greater Belfast area) and Firmus Energy (Ten Towns area), and the electricity prices for Power NI’s domestic customers.
This means that we continuously monitor the components that make up these regulated tariffs and then approve any resulting change to tariffs when necessary.
Formal reviews of the regulated tariffs of Power NI, Firmus Energy (Ten Towns area) and SSE Airtricity Gas Supply (for the Greater Belfast area) have now commenced. It is expected that the reviews will conclude by early September, with announcements to follow soon after.
