Regulator hosts workshop on extending gas network in Northern Ireland

The Utility Regulator hosted a workshop on 8 June to discuss a variety of issues relating to the award of gas conveyance licences for Tyrone, Fermanagh and East Down which are not as yet connected to natural gas supplies. Attendees received presentations from the Utility Regulator and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Investment , and views were sought on the process for awarding gas conveyance licences and the parameters of the regulatory model contained within the licence.
